Mrs. Marie Doty, 70, formerly of Peoria, died yesterday at a Galesburg hospital.
She was born April 10, 1903, in Sibley, a daughter of Carl and Kate Bradford Ebert. She married William C. Doty, April 1, 1920, in Forrest. He died June 27, 1953, in Peoria.
Surviving are two sons, William and G. Robert, both of Peoria; and four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Swanson of Peoria, Mrs. Edna Rentsch of East Peoria, Mrs. Earl (Ethyl) Whited of Pekin and Mrs. Louis (Betty) Stolin of East Peoria.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and an infant daughter.
She died Sunday Dec. 9, 1973 with the obituary being published Monday Dec. 10, in the Peoria Journal Star Evening Edition, page B-8.
