Ocilla, Ga Feb 16, Mrs. Warren Dorminy died at her home near Pinetta Thursday, February 11th. She had been crippled with rheumatism for several years.
Before her marriage to Warren Dorminy fifty years ago, she was Miss Abigail Hunter, daughter of Redding Hunter. Her birthplace was near the River bend, in Irwin county, where she first saw the light of day seventy years ago. Her survivors are her husband, Mr. Warren Dorminy; two sons, Dan and Ed; one daughter, Mrs. Maggie Martin, of Irwin county; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Dorminy and Mrs. Nancy Hutchinson, of Ben Hill county. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist church, a devoted mother and a good Christian.
Her remains were interred at the Frank Paulk cemetery, Friday, February 12th. She was connected with the old families of Irwin and had a host of friends and kin folks. Our sympathies are extended to the bereaved ones.
