DORMAN, Edna Alice – Peacefully, with her family by her side at Parkwood Hospital on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010, Edna Alice (Kennedy) in her 82nd year, lost her brief battle with cancer. Loving mother of Cheryl Chambers (Dave) and Gary Dorman (Debbie). Cherished Grandmother of Jewel Hamilton (Joel), Aaron Dorman and Sara Dorman. Great-Grandmother of Xander Hamilton. Loving sister of Mary Barrow (Fred) all of London. Edna was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence (Larry) Dorman (1996). She was also a faithful member of Byron United Church and leaves many dear friends. Friends and family will be received at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North on Sunday, January 31st, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Byron United Church, 420 Boler Road on Monday, February 1st, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Greg Brawn officiating. Special thank you to all the staff on the 6th and 7th floor at University Hospital as well as the staff at Parkwood Palliative Care for all your support throughout Edna's illness. Cremation has taken place.
