Dies After Log Illness
Benjamin Doom, seventy seven years of age, retired nurseryman of this city, died after an illness of several years. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia.
Mr. Doom is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Vawter Doom; three nieces, Miss Mary Elwood, Mrs. H. H. Mashburn, Bardstown, and Mrs. Orville Wood, Anchorage; three nephews, Edmund Wood, Bardstown; A. B. Wood, Bowling Green, and Glenn Wood, Louisville.
The funeral services were conducted from the residence on South First Street by the Rev. H. H. Mashburn, of Bardstown, at 2:30 Saturday, followed by interment in Grove Hill Cemetery.
