Malcolm Roger Donovan Sr., 82, died Feb. 8, 2015, at a Machias hospital. He was born April 10, 1932, in Jonesport, the youngest of ten children of Harriet H. (Hartford) and Melvin J. Donovan Sr. He had a great fondness for Mason Bay where he grew up as a child. He attended Jonesport High School, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for many years as the manager for the State Agency Liquor Store in Machias. He was an avid trout fisherman, and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of Harwood Masonic Lodge in Machias. Malcolm was predeceased by his 2 brothers and 7 sisters. A Celebration of his life will be announced in the spring. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com.
