She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1947. On October 30, 1948 she married Ron Donnerberg. They were blessed with two daughters, Cindy & Sheryl.
She worked for 27 years in the telephone industry and retired in 1985.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ronald, parents, Gertrude and John and sisters, Delores and Ella.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy (Rob) Walker, Sheryl (David) Dillard, grandsons, Joseph Dillard, Ryan Walker and Zachary Dillard, and great-grandsons, Logan, Grayson, Zachary II and Jordan.
Betty is also survived by sisters, Beulah, Norma, and brother, Don, and many dear friends.
Mom had a deep relationship with Jesus and her family. She was a long term member of the Avon Methodist Church, which she attended with her best buddy Lorraine Feden. She was intelligent and loved to debate politics and numerous other topics, but, you could not change her mind. She was an avid Seahawk and Mariner fan.
She loved more than anything being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the medical and professional "angels" that cared for her.
Mom, we love you and will miss you forever and a day.
Services will held at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Friday, August 7, 2015 from 1:00-4:00PM.
