Frisco was shocked Sunday morning to learn of the sudden passing of Mrs. Dow Baccus, who died at the family home there shortly after 11:00. She had been working at her sewing machine when the end came, falling to the floor and passing away suddenly. She was a member of a prominent West Collin family, being before her marriage several years ago, Miss Edith Donnell. She was a niece of Sam Davis, prominent citizen of that community in the early days. Her husband, several nieces, and cousins survive. She was a sister-in-law of Dowdy Baccus of McKinney. Funeral services will be held at the home in Frisco at 4:00 Friday afternoon with burial following at Bethel Cemetery.
