Martha Donham Andrews, 80, of South Bend, passed away at 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

She was born July 6, 1935 in Morgantown, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Higgins & Pauline (Frazier) Donham. In 1955 Martha was united in marriage to Russell Andrews. Then on January 31, 1997 in Kokomo, IN, she married Victor P. Singleton. He died in 2014. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Williams.

Martha is survived by two daughters, Wendy (Joseph) Jaske, and Shelley Crawford, both of South Bend; and three sons, Norman (Laurie) Andrews of South Bend, Rowan (Desiree) Andrews of Granger, and Todd (Mary) Andrews of Sanford, FL. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, Natalie (Steve) Boocher, Ashley and Mallory Jaske Elliot & Miles Andrews, Talia Andrews, Tyler (Mary) Andrews, Tiah (Robby) Ciganek, Jennifer (Brian) Holt, Carly (Justin) Newbury, Mary Crawford (Aaron Stoermann), Allison & Benjamin Crawford, Stephanie and Joel Andrews, Mimi and Hunter Kurpier, along with seven great-grandchildren, Carter & Grace Boocher, Grant & Ava Holt, Mason & Ella Newbury, and Joenah Andrews.

Mrs. Andrews retired from A.M. General Corp. She was a longtime member of Apostolic Temple Church. She was an avid bird watcher and reader, and loved going to garage sales. She enjoyed singing and sang on the “Grand Ole Opry” radio program.

Services for Mrs. Andrews will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, where visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
