She was born on Feb. 13, 1911, in Kankakee, Ill., and lived in this area since 1927. Mrs. Bobinski retired from Indiana University.
On April 14, 1929, in Kankakee, Ill., as Helen Dominick, she married Edmund Felix Bobinski, who preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1979. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Tim Dalkowski, who died in 1975; two sisters, Beatrice Beach and Ann Bourelle; and by three brothers, Joseph Dominick, John Dominick and Ray Dominiak.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Dalkowski of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; a son, Ronald Janson of Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jennifer Dalkowski of Rolling Prairie, Scott Janson of Toledo, Brian Janson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jackie Petee and Janet Weber, both of Toledo; four great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Wanda Dupuis of Bradley, Ill.
Mrs. Bobinski was a member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Casimir Catholic Church, and was a volunteer at Hamilton Grove.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
