Augusta A. Brust, 75, of 233 N. 13th St., Murphysboro, died Monday, July 7, 1980, at her home. Death was attributed to natural causes.

Mrs. Brust was a retired worker from the former Brown Shoe Co. of Murphysboro.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Murphysboro.

She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors of Murphysboro, the Veterans of Foregin Wars Auxiliary of Murphysboro, the Murphysboro Senior Citizens and the Kitchen Band at the High-Rise in Murphysboro.

She was born March 8, 1905, in Germany to Charles and Caroline Dignath Dominick.

She was married June 22, 1940, in Jackson, Mo. to Frederick A. Brust, who preceded her in death April 24, 1976.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Brust of Murphysboro; one stepdaughter, Wanda Throgmorton of Cape Coral, Fla.; two stepsons, Lawrence F. Brust of Mound City and Raymond E. Brust of Paducah, Ky.; and four grandchileren and four great-grandchildren.

One stepson, Wilmer H. Brust, and two brothers also preceded her in death.
