Albert B. Dominguez, age 71, a lifetime resident of Watrous, N.M., passed away on Monday, July 16, 2007, at his home.
He was born in Shoemaker, N.M., on April 8, 1936, to the late Tence Knight and Antonia Dominguez.
He was united in marriage at Las Vegas, N.M., on June 30, 1962 to Domitilia "Tillie" Lucero.
He served in the United States Army as a Pvt. 1st Class. He retired from the Fort Union National Monument on Dec. 12, 1997, where he was employed as the Maintenance Foreman.
A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Watrous.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Antonia Sanchez; father and mother who raised him: Dionicio Dominguez and Lizzie Torres Dominguez; brothers: Benigno Dominguez, Margarito Dominguez and Dennis Dominguez; sisters: Rosie Sandoval and Ellen Downing.

Interment will follow at the Watrous Cemetery in Watrous with the following serving as casket bearers: Ere Anthony Maldonado, Mike Martinez, Max Gallegos, Leroy Garcia, Toby Sanchez and Sonny Ortega. Serving as honorary bearers will be George Ortega, Eddie Ortega and Chuck Roell.
