Estella M. Doll
GLENVILLE - Estella M. (Spangler) Doll, 91, of The Brethren Home at Cross Keys, formerly of Glenville, died Tuesday at the home. She was the wife of the late Melvin E. Doll.
The service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Doll was born May 26, 1903, in Codorus Township. She was the daughter of the late Frank L. and Mantilla (Shearer) Spangler.
She was employed as a trimmer with the former Savada Brothers Sewing Co. in Glen Rock for many years, retiring in 1965. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church and the Never Weary Sunday School Class of the church. She lived in Glenville for over 60 years, prior to moving to the home in 1985.
Mrs. Doll is survived by a son, Maurice E. Doll of Spring Grove RD 2; four daughters, Frances V. Stair and Mary Lee Rohrbaugh, both of Hanover, Phyllis M. Brant of Spring Grove, and Elaine M. Seifert of Dover; 25 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Doll was preceded in death by two sons, William N. Doll and Glenn E. Doll, and three daughters, Marcella S. Krebs, Rosella Doll and Faye Doll.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Richard C. Weaver.
