Emalee Beadles, 78, of Commerce passed away on April 6, 2013 in Greenville. She was born in Quitman on September 5, 1934 to Jimmy & Viola Dodson.

She was raised in a family of crop workers and farmers.

Emalee married Lonnie Beadles in Sulphur Springs on November 10, 1950. She spent her years as a loving homemaker to her husband and children. She was also a devout Christian and member of Old Concord Baptist Church of Jacobia.

She is survived by her husband, daughter Sue Johnson of Commerce, daughter Melba Bogan of Commerce, daughter June Miller of Commerce, daughter Holly Press of Greenville, son Ricky Beadles of Celeste, son Lonnie Beadles Jr. of Commerce, sister, Lou Dean Dale of Athens, tons of grand children and great grand children and many nieces and nephews.

Emalee was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Richard Odell Dodson, sisters: Jane Dodson, and Trudy Childres; brother, Odell Dodson, and an infant grandson Lance Beadles.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, April 8, 2013 and service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, April 8, 2013 both at the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville. Interment will follow service at South Sulphur Cemetery in Commerce.
