Jack Edwin Dodson Brimm, 60 years of age, formerly of Williamsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at St. Joseph's East in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born in Corbin, Kentucky on April 3, 1948 to the late Jack W. and Anita Delores Ellis Brimm. He loved movies, and was a gun enthusiast, a war historian, and a devoted husband and loved dogs. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

Jack was survived by a brother, David Brimm of Williamsburg, Kentucky; five sisters, Anita (and Reed) Riley of Girdler, Kentucky, Brigitte (and Joe) Carroll of Somerset, Kentucky, Bernadette (and Arnold) Rains of Corbin, Kentucky, Teresa (and Herbert) Stevens of Whitley City, Kentucky and Mary Diamond of Somerset, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend and brother-in-law, Parker Morris and family.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Frances "Fran" Morris Brimm whom he married in London, Kentucky on August 18, 1976

Funeral services were held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Chapel of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Lonnie Sewell officiating.

Interment followed in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, Kentucky.


If you could see me now you wouldn't shed a tear, Though you may not understand why I'm no longer there. Remember my spirit, that is the real me because I'm still very much alive, I've just been set free. Oh, if you could only see!

I have held our Father's face and I've touched my Savior's hand. All of Heaven's angels rejoiced as I entered the promised land. Beyond the gates of pearl I've walked on the golden streets.

I've touched the walls of jasper and dipped my foot in the crystal sea. The beauty is beyond words and nothing could compare, I've even seen our Lords mansion and someday I'll meet you there. Let Jesus be your guide because "His Word" will show you the way. So please don't cry because we will meet again someday.
