He served in the U. S. Army
during World War II , and retired from Dow after many years of service.
His parents and his brothers; two half siblings preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Dodge;
children, Burdette Dodge Jr., Geraldine Moore,
Steven Rogers, (Rosie);
Bruce Rogers, (Pat);
Allen Rogers , (Mitzy);
nine grandchildren,
Amanda; Brandon; Elizabeth; Karen;
Sharon; Jessica; Anthony; Jennifer; Kendalyn;
five great - grandchildren,
Mike; Gabriel; Jared; Ashlee; Hunter.
