Death: Mar. 13, 2008

Bud went home to be with his new-found Savior on Thursday, March 13th at the age of 94 following a Heart Attack at the University of Utah Medical Center in the University Village area of Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born November 19, 1913, as the seventh child of Fred and Lillian Dodds of Meridian, Idaho. He served in the Army during World War II. Upon an honorable discharge, he moved to Salt Lake City where he met and married Lillie Lee Conn in 1948. He worked for many years for the General Services Administration and retired in the early seventies. He spent many enjoyable years camping and fishing with his family. In later years, he looked forward to trips to Wendover to play his favorite "Wild Cherry" and "Haywire" machines. He was an avid baseball and NASCAR fan. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two daughters, Ardith "Andy" Bishop and Iva Lee Record (Gene), and his granddaughter, Jenifer Pless, whom he affectionately called "the kid." He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his wife, Lillie.

A Brief Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 20th 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 E. 1300 S.
