Born November 2, 1916 in Dry Fork, she was the daughter of the late Oscar C. Dodd and Annie Booth Dodd. On June 7, 1934 she married her husband of 71 years, Leslie Raymond Collins who predeceased her on March 9, 2006. She was a lifetime member of Third Avenue Congregational Church where she was a member of Circle 11, the Willing Workers Sunday school class and W.C.T.U. She had worked as a buyer for Park Place Mercantile Company for a number of years.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Collins Holley of Danville, and one granddaughter, Ann Marie Carver and her husband, Tom, of Powder Springs, GA.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Mildred D. Young, and a son-in-law, George R. Holley.
