Mary Rebecca (Dobson) Kane was born on November 18, 1867 in Williamson County, Tennessee, the daughter of James H Dobson and Sarah (Adams) Dobson.
During the 1930 and '40 censuses, Rebecca was living with her widowed sister Elizabeth "Lizzie" Baxter (ca 1872- ).
Living at 1504 Boscobel Street, Nashville, she was 72 years old and a widow when she died at home of chronic pulmonary TB on August 18, 1940. Burial was two days later in Calvary Cemetery, Nashville.
