Funeral services for SP6 Jimmy G. Dobbs, 38, stationed in Germany, will be held Friday, June 19, at 2 p.m. in Chapel of the Pines. The Bishop Irving S. Campbell of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will conduct the service. Interment will be in the Placerville Union Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Dobbs died June 9 in Landstahl, Germany, following a brief illness. He was born in Altis, Oklahoma and served with the U.S. Army for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Georgiana Dobbs, father of Jimmy Jr., Mark, Joan and Gina Dobbs, all of Landstahl, Germany; brother of Mrs. Raymond Erbele, all of Las Vegas, Maurice L. Dobbs of Frazier Park, Charles Dobbs of San Bernadino, Jack Dobbs of Lancaster and Marian Hames of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Mr. Dobbs is the son of Mrs. Anna Dobbs of Frazier Park"
