CARL DIXON, 77, of Duncan, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, in Lawton.
Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas, under direction of Olinger Mortuary of San Antonio.
Carl was born Sept. 15, 1930, in Alcorn County, Miss., to Osker and Wrennie Butler Dixon. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service. During those years, he served in Korea and Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Beck Dixon of Duncan; his three children, Duane Dixon and wife Kim of Pleasanton, Texas, and their children, Austin, Hayden, Mason and Adysen; Stacey Rauls-Regino and husband Ramiro Regino of San Antonio, Texas, and their children, Courtney, Priscilla and R.C.; and Tracey Dixon and wife Tracy, and their children, Kyle and Harlee, also of San Antonio; two sisters, Lottie Epps of Tahlequah, and Ripple Moss of Corinth, Miss.; stepchildren, Don and Virginia Copeland, and Nancy Mann, all of Duncan, Ed Greenwood of Garland, Texas, and Gary and Patsy Kirby of Tulsa; and numerous step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Irene Dixon; his parents; and a brother, Franklin Dixon.
