Denise Wright, 55, of Van Meter died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010 at her residence in rural Van Meter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with Pastor Arno H. Melz officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Madison County.
Denise was born on Oct. 28, 1955, at Winterset, Iowa to Bill and Beverly (Johnston) Dippold. She was a graduate of Van Meter High School and married Ralph Wright on Nov. 7, 1980, at Winterset. She had spent most of her life in the Winterset area. Denise had been a homemaker and had also worked different clerical positions for various businesses.
Denise is survived by her parents, Bill and Beverly (Johnston) Dippold of Van Meter; husband, Ralph Wright of Lorimor; children, Michael Hartz of Lorimor and Tiffiany Wright and fiancé Gary Heathcote of Lorimor; brother, W.M. Dale Dippold; and grandchildren, Jager Hartz, Prescott Allen, Melody Hartz and Danica Heathcote.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Owen Eugene Wright; and grandparents, Ithoulia and Francis Johnston and Edith and William A. Dippold.
