Irene L. Barker, 78, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in Lebanon.

She was born Oct. 1, 1927, in Wright County, Mo., to Sammy and Barbara Rader Dinwiddie.

On Sept. 7, 1945, she married Junior Barker, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Everett, Johnny and Monroe Dinwiddie, and a sister, Geniva Rippie.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Patty Lambertson and her husband, Bruce, of Stoutland; Sandra Bunton, of Lebanon and Connie Simpson and her husband, Ronnie, of Hemet, Calif.; four sons, Carl Barker and his wife, Elvia, of Hemet, Calif.; Charlie Barker and his wife, Frances, Howard Barker and his wife, Donna and Robert Barker and his wife, Frankie, all of Lebanon; a sister, Nadine Black of the state of Texas; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services for Irene L. Barker will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2006, at Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon with Pastor James Hicks officiating.

Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery near Rader, under the direction of Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
