FREMONT--Mrs. Nellie Aldridge, 76, of Talent, Oregon, former resident of Fremont, died Tuesday noon at Ashland, Oregon. For the past two years, she had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Roger Rath of Talent.
Born October 11, 1876, near Fremont, she was the daughter of D. H. and Rachel Dinsmore. She had spent most of her life in Fremont and was a member of the Fremont Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Mark of Oakland, California, and Robert of Forestville, California; two daughters, Mrs. Rath of Talent, and Ruth Aldridge of Sheridan, Wyoming; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Pearl White of Lexington, Kentucky; and three brothers, Frank Dinsmore of Fremont, Harry Dinsmore of Flint, Michigan, and C. C. Dinsmore of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berry in 1922, a daughter, Esther, in 1945, one brother and two sisters.
The body will arrive Saturday at the Community Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Aldridge, who died Tuesday noon at Ashland, Oregon, are tentatively planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fremont Methodist Church, with Dr. Ernest Mathews in charge. Burial will be in Cedar Township Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The body will arrive in Ottumwa early Saturday and will be taken to the Community Funeral Home until noon when it will be taken to the church.
