CRAIGSVILLE - Mrs. Hattie Mae Dinkle, 53, of Craigsville, died Saturday, (May 20, 1967) in King's Daughters' Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Dinkle was born in Augusta County, March 2, 1914, the daughter of H. Harrison Sprouse of Craigsville and the late Maggie W. Sprouse. She was employed by Stillwater Worsted mill for a number of years.
Surviving is her husband, James L. Dinkle, a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ann Utley of Craigsville; four sisters, Mrs. Mamie Craig of Richmond, Mrs. Mabel Price, Mrs. Hannah Gregory and Mrs. Lucille Zimbro, all of Craigsville; four brothers, Wine of Martinsburg, W. Va., Elijah of Augusta Springs, Dallas of Craigsville and Friel Sprouse of Selma.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sensabaugh - Zimmerman Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Harley Bender and the Rev. Francis Green. Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight night from 7-8 o'clock.
Active pallbearers will be John Goff, Hankins Trainum, Elwood Fox, David Showker Jr., J.F. Daniel and members of the Stillwater Mill mending department.
