Leo Dingus, 46, of 447 Andrews Circle, Marina, died unexpectedly Monday. He was stricken while visiting friends in the Prunedale area, and a coroner's autopsy will be held to determine the exact cause of death. A native of Verda, Ky., he was born May 30, 1933, and had been a Peninsula area resident for 18 years. Before his health failed, he had been employed as a watchmaker. Mr. Dingus is survived by his mother, Viola Cox of Marina; daughter, Corine Majcher and Nancy Dingus, both of Salinas; son, Lonnie of Ogden, Utah; sister, Janet Bohland of Oakland, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Healey Mortuary Chapel in Salinas, with the Rev. Daninel Danborn of the Calvary Chapel in Monterey officiating. Burial will be at Mission Memorial Park in Seaside.
