Estanislada (Lala) Dimas Baca, a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away December 16, 2010 after a long illness. She was born in LaBajada, New Mexico November 21, 1916. Her husband David T. Baca preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Esquibel; three daughters, Regina Chavez and her husband Joe, Elizabeth Serna and her husband Morris and Nancy Encee; one son David E. Baca and his wife Arlene; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Lala was a member of the Blue Army and a Parishioner of Saint Ann's Catholic Church. She was also employed at the Catholic Center for a number of years. Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Salazar and Sons Mortuary. The Rosary will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at the St. Ann's Catholic Church, 1400 Arnal SW. The Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., at the St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Chavez, Edward Martinez Sr., Mark Mares, Jude Chavez, Ronald Chavez and George Baca. Honorary pallbearers will be John Chavez, Edward Martinez Jr., Jared Martinez, Edward Chavez and Kirk Felgenhauer.
