HENDERSON -- Vera Lillian Dills Beauchamp, 94, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Red Banks Towers.
She had worked at the Betty Maid and Dixie Lou Frocks dress factories and during World War II had worked in the Chrysler Plant in Evansville.
She was a 60-year member and served as secretary of her Sunday school class at Audubon Baptist Church.
She was a member of the Zion Homemakers Club and a volunteer for the Henderson Community Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, James C. of Evansville and the Rev. Eugene of Selvin, Ind.; a sister, Pauline Cope of St. Louis; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coston J., in 1970, a daughter, Barbara B. Strahle, in 1986 and a son, Arthur Newton Beauchamp, in 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Audubon Baptist Church, with burial in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Tapp Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. to service time at the church.
