Wake services for Ada Farmer Dillon will be held at her home in Mission on Wednesday and at the Bishop Harold Jones Building in Mission on Thursday with funeral services there at 2 PM Friday, May 15, 2009. Burial will immediately follow at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Mission.
Ada was born February 17, 1925, to Lee Farmer, Sr. and Lizzie Bear Old Woman Farmer. She passed away in Rapid City, SD on May 9, 2009 at the age of 84 years.
She is survived by 8 children: Martha Jimerson of Salamanca, NY, Barbara Semans, Elizabeth Bordeaux, Leatrice Moran, Adrian Dillon, Monica Bordeaux, Diana Dillon and Douglas Dillon, Sr., all of Mission; 3 sisters: Effie Farmer & Velma Burnette of Mission and Viola Brave of Rapid City; brother Eddie Farmer of Mission; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
