John Dilger, San Bernardino carpenter, died Sunday at a San Bernardino hospital. He was 69 years old and a native of Alsace, France.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ida May Dilger of San Bernardino; four sisters, Clara Vogt of Des Moines, Mary Lechty of Iowa City, Mrs, James Simonton of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Eugene Peck of Madera; one brother, Frank Dilger of Osage, Wy., three daughters, Mrs. William Crego of San Bernardino, Mrs. D. C. Bakerink of Fontana, and Mrs. Alice Woolums of Santa Monica; one son, P. R. Dilger of San Bernardino, and seven grandchildren.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Mark B. Shaw chapel, with burial arrangements pending.

When John Joseph DILGER was born on May 20, 1870, in Germany, his father, Paul, was 26 and his mother, Marie, was 24. He married Ida May Fillmore on February 2, 1898, in Salinas, California. They had four children in 10 years. He died on April 18, 1940, in Rialto, California, at the age of 69.
