Mrs. William Bauer, 123 E. South street, passed away in death at St. Joseph hospital at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, following a lingering illness. Funeral services are to be held at St. Patrick church at nine o'clock tomorrow morning and will be conducted by Rev. Wm. E. Wright. Interment will be in St. Patrick cemetery.
Margaret Dietz was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dietz and was born September 17th, 1886 at Lake Mills, Wis. Her marriage to William Bauer took place on August 25th, 1912. She had resided here since.
She is survived by her husband, two sons and a daughter, Mrs. Hugh McConaghy, Jr., of this city; Staff Sergeant William Bauer of Truax Field, Madison and Private Lloyd Bauer of Camp Joseph T. Robinson, Ark. Also surviving are her father of this city, three sisters and a brother. The sisters and brother are Mrs. Barney Belling of this city; Mrs. Nick Rausch of Beloit; Mrs. Jack Kiefer and George Dietz of this city. There are three surviving grandchildren. Her mother and a sister preceded her in death.
