HELEN DICKSON BURNS
Mrs. Burns, 91, of Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, died at 9:15 a.m. today, April 12, 1984, in the home, after an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 28, 1893, in Elizabeth Furnace, the daughter of S. Edward and Mary (Hildebrand) Dickson, and Sept. 11, 1911, in Newry, married Aden W. Burns, who died Dec. 14, 1965.
Surviving are two daughters: Amy E. Culbertson and Ivy M. Krider of Hollidaysburg; two grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Burns was a member of the Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and Duncansville Golden Age Club.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville.
BURNS -- Services for Helen Dickson Burns, formerly of Duncansville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville, by the Rev. Alan Kieffer. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.)
