Dickson was a retired farmer and merchant.
Mr. Dickson married on 31 August 1893 at Kennedale, Tarrant County, Texas to Miss Lela Robinson, who survived.
Survivors: wife; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Dickson came to Texas with his family when he was a child and lived in Lamar County. He also lived in Kennedale in Tarrant County and Decatur in Wise County. He moved to Olney from Decatur, Texas.
