Betty J. DeGarmo, 66, of Saylorsburg, died Friday in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Donald P. DeGarmo Jr. They had observed their 48th wedding anniversary in September.
Born in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Jessie (Hutchinson) Dickey.
She was a member of Western Pocono Women's Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Debra A. DeGarmo of Saylorsburg; two sons, Donald P. DeGarmo III and his wife, Donna, of Newton, N.J., and Robert Earl DeGarmo and his wife, Michelle, in Florida; and four grandchildren.
