Beaulah '"Faye"' Dickey
July 6, 1935~January 26, 2010

Beaulah Faye Dickey passed from this life on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 at her home in Erin Springs, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Faye was born on July 6, 1935 in Bowie County, Texas to Roy and Bertha (Garret) Watson. She married Robert Dickey on July 21st, 1990 in Alexander Township, New Jersey.

Faye was a member of the First Assembly of God in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and was active in the women's ministries.

Faye was married for twenty wonderful years to Robert "Reb" Dickey. Many years ago Reb gave Faye the nickname "Tex". She was a wonderful wife. Faye and Reb both enjoyed fishing, camping and gospel music together. They both enjoyed their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They also loved their church family and many friends.

Faye was a kind, gentle person. She was saved in 1992, and she loved the Lord. Faye was the type of person that if you met her once you would always remember her. She loved to have all her family over and cook for them. Faye also loved working in her yard and planting flowers. When she worked around the house or yard, she would always hum gospel songs. Faye left this world to be with the Lord, a journey she was ready to take. Faye will be missed by all those who knew her, but we all know that she is with the Lord and in good loving hands.

Mrs. Dickey is survived by her husband, Robert Dickey, five sons; James George of Pennsylvania, Ronny George of Ohio, Jacky George of Texas, Philip George of Louisiana and Kenneth George of Louisiana, one daughter, Paula Christie of Oklahoma, three sister; Nova Watson, Lucille Watson and Judy Watson and one brother, Jim Watson. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren; Jimmy George, Susie George, Rosie George, Crystal Leath, Jackie Mills, Lisa George, Rachel Foley, Brian Christie, Jason George, Joshua Christie, Garrett George and Zachary George and many great-granchildren.

Mrs. Dickey was preceded in death by two sisters, Lavernne Watson and Josephine Watson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dickey are set for two o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010 at the First Assembly of God in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Pastor Rodney Hutcheson and Evangelist Dean Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
