Cottrill served his country proudly in the US Navy. He loved to watch sports, good movies and especially enjoyed music, such as Jazz and Blues and liked social gatherings. He will be deeply missed.
Cottrill is survived by his sister, Gladys Gammage of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; half sister and brother, Patricia and Rainey Dickerson as well as others on the Harvey and Dickerson families; cousins from the Harvey and Dickerson families; nephews from the Dickerson family; nieces, Wanda Tillman as well as a host of others from the Harvey and Dickerson families. He was preceded in death by his father, Cottrill Dickerson Sr., mother, Ruth Strickland and oldest brother, Lloyd Dickerson.
Viewing will be held from 10:00 -11:00 AM on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with full military honors presented by the VFW, Post 9401. Interment will be at Southern Nevada Veteran's Cemetery at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 19, 2010.
