Mildred A. Allen, (nee Dickerson) of the Masonic Home of NJ in Burlington Township passed away on Monday at the age of 96.
Mildred was a lifelong Burlington Twp. resident who was a member, past Deaconess, and Sunday School teacher for the First Baptist Church of Burlington. She was a life member and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Independent Fire Company. She belonged to the Burlington Twp. Senior Citizens, and she enjoyed needle point, knitting and crocheting and did volunteer work for Rancocas Hospital in Willingboro.
Wife of the late William D., Jr. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Audrey L. and Leslie Dillon of Florence, Madelyn M. and Harry Middleton of Burlington; grandchildren and their spouses, Janice and Mark Yost, Thomas and Margie Dillon, Steven and Cathy Dillon, Holly and Scott Kielman; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and sister and brother-in-law, Caroline "Peggy" and Jim Marshall of Burlington.
Visitation will be held at the PAGE FUNERAL HOME, 302 E. Union St. @ St. Mary St., Burlington on Friday from 7 to 9 PM and also Saturday from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will begin on Saturday at 11 AM with burial following in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
Donations may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church Burlington, 335 Stacy St., Burlington, NJ 08016.
Due to events on High Street Friday evening (it will be closed at Broad St.) please turn right onto East Broad Street go three blocks and turn left at St. Mary Street to the 2nd block to the funeral home on the right.
