Mr. Otha DeWitt of Campbellsville, Route 3, son of Mr. Georgie DeWitt and Mrs. Mattie Warner DeWitt, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 22, 1925. He died suddenly at 11:25 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 1978, at the Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville at the age of 52. He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was an employee of the Tennessee Gas Transmission Company for the past thirty years. He was also a veteran of World War II. He united in marriage to Miss Ivagene Miller August 20, 1949. Besides his wife, Mrs. Ivagene Miller DeWitt of Campbellsville, Route 3, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Georgie DeWitt of Campbellsville, Star Route; one brother and one sister: Mr. James E. DeWitt of Campbellsville, Star Route and Mrs. Vernie Allen of Campbellsville, Route 2 and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 26, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel in Campbellsville by the Rev. Otis Clell Skaggs and the Rev. William Fitzwater and the Rev. Garlen Skaggs. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Buddy Shaw, Melvin Blakeman, Blond Underwood, J. B.
