Mrs. Clara Effie Bell, 88, died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in George Ade Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient three days.
Born at Brook, she was a lifetime resident of the area. She was married in 1909 at Brook to Charles Bell who died in 1944.
Mrs. Bell was a member of Brook United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David (Marie) Miller Sr. of Brook and Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Miiller of Goodland.
