She was born in Gommer, Westphalia, Germany, Nov. 22, 1860. She joined the community in 1865 and as for several years on the St. Mary's hospital, Streator, Ill, until sickness obliged her to come to St. John's hospital in 1895. Wherever she was she was a dutiful sister and attentive towards the patients under her care. Her mother and two brothers are still living in Germany.
The funeral will take place from the chapel at St. John's hospital.
