Born in Alder Point, she was a daughter of thelate Albert and Mary (Martin) Devoe. She was a member of the United Churchof Florence. She is survived by a daughters, Mrs Margaret Moore, PointAconi; a son, Donald, Montreal; a sister, Martha Campbell, New Victoria; twobrothers, Walter, Sydney Mines; Dan, Toronto; a number of grandchildren;eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was predeceasedby her husband, Norman; a daughter, Frances (Mrs Phillip MacIntyre); abrother, Raymond. The body is in Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home, SydneyMines where the funeral will be 2 pm Saturday, Rev. R. Breuleighofficiating. Burial will be in the Point Aconi Cemetery.
