Mrs. Mozelle McNeely Deviney, 89, died Tuesday Dec. 28, 2004, at Carolinas Medical Center.
Born Aug. 29, 1915, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Ambrose Rhinehart McNeely Sr. and Scofield Cook McNeely. She was a retired winder at Cleveland Mills, with 32 years of service. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Deviney; three brothers; and six sisters.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melba and Don White Sr. of the home; two grandsons, Donald White Jr. of Cornelius and Jonathan White of Jersey City, N.J.; a brother, A. R. McNeely Jr. of Cherryville; a sister, Wilba Canipe of Morganton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at Corinth Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
