Dorothy was the daughter of Susan (nee Warner) and Henry Devine. She was predeceased by her first husband, Captain Robert J. Jackson of Newark, NJ who was a fighter pilot in the South Pacific. They had been married in 1944 and he passed away in 1949 of polio. In 1953, Dorothy married Joseph A. Connolly of Belleville. Joseph passed away in 1978. She is survived by her children, Dr. Richard J. Jackson; William R. Jackson; James F. Jackson; Joseph and Mark Connolly; Mary Camille and Kathleen Connolly; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-granchildren.
