Charles William Deutsch, 85 of North Charleroi, died peacefully, Saturday July 16, 2011 at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 13, 1926 in Monessen, a son of the late Albert Grant and Margaret McCleary Deutsch. Bill attended St. Leonard Elementary School in Monessen and graduated from Monessen High School in the Class of 1944. He loved playing euchre with his fellow euchre players and diligently worked crossword puzzles. Bill retired from American Chain & Cable Co., Page Division, in Monessen with 48 years of service. Surviving is his wife Beverly Stublarac Falis Deutsch; two daughters Sherry Hogan and husband George of Dunlevy and Peggy Deutsch and John Rebar of Charleroi; two grandchildren Marc Sambula of Rosslyn Farms and Tracy Bosley and husband Joey of Sewickley; great granddaughter Mia Lynne Bosley; step-son James Falis and two-step grandsons Jim and Jake Falis of Fallowfield Twp; sister-in-law Germaine Reed and husband Mark of Upper St. Clair; and his favorite friend cat Boots. In addition to his parents Bill is preceded in death by his son Anthony Paul "Tony" Deutsch. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 19th from 1 to 3p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.
