Mary Adelaide Dermid was the daughter of Sara Eliza Fetherstone & Memory Prince Dermid. She married first, James Thomas Cooper in 1893. They had three children:
*William Prince Cooper 1893–1980) *Arthur Otis Cooper (1895–1900) *Myrtle Irene Cooper (1898–1974)
Next, she married Joseph Hiriam Pickett in 1906. They had three children: *Claude Joseph Pickett (1906–1984) *Eva Lillian Pickett (1908–2002) *Mary Kathleen Pickett (1910–1913)
She died at 40 years of age of Diphtheria along with her daughter, Mary Kathleen Pickett.
