HARLINGEN, TX.—

Mary Ann Deputy Miller, 90, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at her residence in Harlingen.

Mary Ann was born on December 9, 1921 in Dallas, TX to Leven T. Deputy and Lucille Whitehead Deputy.

She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas and attended University of Texas at Arlington.

She was a longtime resident of Harlingen where she retired with her husband in 1976. She worked as a bookkeeper much of her life but her number one job was always "Mom, Wife and Granny" and hanging out in the kitchen where she loved to bake. She also was a longtime member of the Harlingen Garden Club where she served as treasurer and a member of the Spirit of Praise Church also in Harlingen.

Mary Ann is survived by
daughter,
Susan Ironside of Irving, TX;

sons,
Michael Miller and wife Estella of Harlingen; Timothy Miller and wife Janet of Irving, TX;

6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her
husband,
H. Kenneth Miller in 1989.

A memorial service will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 4:00 PM, Thursday, March 8, 2012.
