His name is Thomas Earl Deppe; however, he goes by Earl. Earl is the son of Anton Henry Deppe and Mary Elizabeth Russell.
He was born and grew up in Randolph County, Illinois. In June of 1914 Earl married Hazel Cliff Leary. Earl and Hazel had the following children: Clifford Earl (1915), Aril Eugene(1917), Bourbon Ernest (1918), Gladys Ilene (1920), Emma Madelyn (1922), and Mosman Leroy (1924).
By 1917, the family is living in Willisville, Perry County, Illinois. Earl is mining. The 1920 census list Earl's profession as Engineer hoisting coal. By 1930, the census indicates that Earl is farming in Steeleville, Randolph County, Illinois. Hazel had died the year before on 28 Dec 1929.
Earl registered for World War II. At the time, he lists his home as New Windsor, Mercer County, Illinois.
At the time of Earl's death, all of his children are living.
