GALVESTON— Thersia Jane Denyer, 96, of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at Turner Geriatric Center in Galveston, Texas. Thersia was born July 19, 1909, to Robert and Agnes Oliver in Lake Charles, Lousiana. Thersia married William G. Denyer on June 25, 1930. She was a 75 year member of the West minister Presbyterian Church of Galveston.
Thersia is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Agnes Oliver; husband, William G. Denyer; an infant sister; and an infant great grandson. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Clifton and husband, Herb of Dallas, Texas; sons, Oliver (Buzzy) Denyer and wife, Barbara of Point Blank, Texas, Robert Denyer of Tucson, Arizona; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Edgewater Retirement Center in Galveston at a later date.
