NORTH WILKESBORO– Cora Adcox, age 94, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Born in Halifax County, NC on November 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Gervis and Frances Denton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd "Dick" T. Adcox; and her brother Jim Denton.

Cora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her, but her loving spirit will never be forgotten as she was everything to her family.

She was a fixture for years with Town & Country Restaurant in Nashville and was loved for her out going personality and humor.

Cora is survived by her daughters, Ann A. Barnes and husband, Eugene, of North Wilkesboro, and Linda A. Barnes and husband, Larry, of Nashville; her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren

A private graveside service was held on Wednesday, at Forest Hills Cemetery.
