Janice Clarine Denny Carscaddon, age 90 of Clinton, TN, passed away peacefully in the presence of family at her home December 21, 2013 due to heart failure. She was born October 23, 1923 in Stubenville, OH to the late James T. and Clarine Cordell Denny. She married Wesley Irl Carscaddon on October 20, 1946.
Janice attended Duke University School of Nursing where she received her RN diploma. She worked until her retirement at Washington Seventh Day Adventist Hospital. She was a member of Viers Mill Baptist Church of Rockville, MD and Edgemoor Baptist Church of Clinton, TN. She was an avid reader- mainly westerns, loved to crochet and do embroidery, enjoyed gardening and growing flowers, walking in the rain and walking on the beach after storms. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Irl Carscaddon; brother, Richard Denny.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 27th, at 1:00PM at Green Hills Cemetery, 25 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
