The Sac Sun - Thursday , November 24th, 1960 - Funeral services for Roy Denman were held from the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon with Rev Richard McEuen pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Attendants were Vane Bright, John Mooney, Bert Beach, Mark Lynch, Leonard Meyers, and George Van Gorp. Burial was made in Cory Grove Cemetery.
Roy Denman, son of Mr and Mrs J.H. Denman, was born in Cook Township Sac County, Feb 6, 1881. On 1904 he moved to Sac City and on March 4 of that year he was united in marriage with Annabelle McIntosch of Sac City. To this union was born one son, Henry Denman.
Mr Denman was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Annabelle in 1952, one brother and one sister.
He is survived by his son, Henry, who lived with his father on an acreage just southeast of Sac City and two sisters, Mrs HR Klove of Sac City and Mrs Mary Buckingham of Casper, Wyoming.
